Commencing with a parade 'Of school kids incostume from, Victoria' Park, headed by the Seaforth High- landers Band, the evening will get under way with a bang. a Arriving at the Palace Rink about 8 pan., the Lions will play give-and- take when. Lions John Beattie and C. E. Smith will give candy to the kid- dies, while Lions McMillan, Holmes, Mullen and Mills will take a dime each from, the adults. Lionaaal. F. Tickets may be purchased at any Seaforth store. ATTENDANCE RECORD FALL YEAR BY YEAR Seaforth Lions Hallowe'en Frolic Will Attract Over 2,500. The history of the Hallowe'en Frolic has been a succession of broken at- tendance records. Now being held for the, eighth con- secutive year the Frolic next Friday is expected to draw over 2,500 people of this district to the Seaforth rink: In 1936 over 2,000 took part in the fun. Started in a email way the frolic row ranks as the leading . annual ev- ent in the district .,and an.nualla at- tracts crowds from greater distances. The Members of the Seaforth Lions Club have built up a frolic organiza- tion of unique efficiency in order that the big crowds may be properly ac- commodated. ' Lionisin at -its highest is an effort on the part Of a number -or -eit1zer4 to afford an organized and economic avenue where by a .community and its surrounding .districts, 'may make a united endeavour to remove the ba.nclicaps from underprivileged, in capieated crippled children, in order that those children, may enjoy health and happiness. For fifteen y,ears, the Seaforth Liana Club bias unceasingly labored to con- vert into national assets, childraen who through no' fault of their own, might become permanent public liabilities. The past year has been unusually heavy in financing the treatment of these unfortunate children, and in addition we are facing a very heavy expendittue to care for the thirty-one crippledachildten who were presented: at the Lions clinic recently beta in Scott Memanial Hospital. Many of the children attending the recent olinic will have to hefinanced by the Lions Club in, order that they have the operations, appliances and hospitalization necessary to success- ful treatment:. The club is fully aware of the ne- ceeeita• of keeping ,children strong and healthy. Each winter it is our custom to distribute on an average of io,poo pint of milk to needy chil- dren.
