Junior Hurons To Hold Corn Roast.
-The Huron County Junior Associa-
tion of Toroabe are ,holding a corn
roast at 'Lanebton Park on Thursday,
September 16th, at 8.30 pxo. An in-
teresting program of sports and
games is- being arranged. A good
crowd of Junior Huronites in Toronto
are expected, ansd all are cordially in-
vite&
Bawling. - A most enjoyable mixed
bowling tournament was enjoyed on
Wednesday afternoon and evening
when twelve men and ten ladies play-
ed. Supper was served at the club
house. The prize winners were:
Ladies, Mrs. DeLacey, Mrs. Robert
Smith and Mrs. E. H. Close; men -
E. H. Close, John J. Chuff and Jahn
Beattie.

Death of Mr. W. F. ;McMillan,-
Death came with startling' suddenness
to William Findlay McMillan, a high-
ly esteemed and widely known: resi-
dent on Tuesday eveningSeptember
7th. Apparently Mr. McMillan had
been in his usual good health all day
and in the evening had called at the
Egmondiville Manse. had,
there he
was stricken with an acute heart at-
tack, and although he was ablet to
reach his home, he passed away

tery. She is survived by a family ter
