a concise outline of the annual meet-
ing •of Huron Presbyterial held in
Clinton,. Mrs. Feast, leader -of ,Gropp

citizen of .Winghtim in .the person. -of
Samuel Bennett; 76.' Mr. Bennett had
enjoyed good. health, until two weeks
ago -when he- suffered a heart attack,
from which, heefailed' to 'rally. Born
in Hullett Townglelp in 1861 he was
an acComplished, carpenter and fram-
er, having had Mills at Seaforth, Clin-
ton and Winghata; previous to his re-
tirement scinie. years ago. In religion
Mr. Bennett was a staunch member
of the United- Church and at, thetime
of his death was a Steward of the
Church and chairman of the property'
committee. Left to mourn the:deeth,
besides 'his, '.wife, formerly Mary J.
Jefferson, • is one daughter', Blanche,
at home. also -one sister, .Mrs. R. H.
Lloyd, .of Wingham, and three bro-
thers, John of Seaforth, •Thomae
Clinton,' and Joseph of Walton- The
funeral wes. held at 1 o'clock Wed-
nesday efterntroh, with Rev. J. F. An-
derson of the United Chinch in
•charge. • Interment •was made in
Maitlandbank cemetery, Seaforth.
