Death of Mrs. George A. Bunch. -
The death occurred at her home in
Seaforth on Friday,June 12th., fol-
lowing a month's illness of Mary M.
Reid, a hig'h?y esteemed resident of
Seaforth, and wife of George A.
Bunch .,Deceased was born on_a farm
near Clinton in 18,60, and went to live
in the Town of Clinton wheve she liv-
ed until her marriage 41 years ago.
Five years later they moved to Hen -
sal, returning afterward • to Clinton.
They located leiter in Gederich and
then in Seaforthe where they have
resicle•cl for a number of years. Mrs.
_Bench was a Member of Northside
United' Church, 'Seatorth. Besides her
husband she is survived by one sis-
ter, Mrs. Brigham Kaiser, Clinton,
and a 'brother, R. Reid. The funeral
wass held from' the 'apartments on
Main. Street on +Monday, when the
services were conducted by her pas-
tor, Rev. T. A. Carmichael.' Inter-
ment was made in Mailtlandhank cem-
etery.
Mae Lane Auxiliary Meets. - The
regular monthly meeting of the Mae
Lane Auxiliary was held Monday ev-
ening in Northside United Church,
with the president, Mrs. Close,' in the
chair. The meeting was opened with
silent prayer and a prayer for the
corning of the Kingdom of God by
Mrs, W. C. Barber. "Abiding, Oh So
Wondrous Sweet" was sung followed
'by the missionary prayer by the
president. Splendid reports were giv-
en by the, secretary, treasurer and
the Temperance secretary. Miss Fen-
riellela the absence of mrs. Chapman,
delegate to the Huron Pre.sbyterial,
held; in Sarnia, gave a most interest -
ng report on doings at „the confer-
enee. ' During the business discussion
it was decided to send Miss M. Gil-
lespie, as delegate, to the summer
school at Alma College in St, Thorna.s,
August 24-28, her expenses tb be
rai•sect by means af a travelling bas-
ket. Mrs. Weedunark, Captain of
Circle II, opened her part of the
meeting, with the hymn, "Fight the
Gond Fight" and the Lord's Preeer
repeated in unison. Mrs. J. Farrell,
of ClInton Ontario St. United Church,
gave one-half hour of her own orig-
inal poems, ,those which especially
delightdd her audience being "Spring-
time Bouquet," "Precious" and' "So
May I," written' for +the Huron Pres-
bytery. "Trees" sung by Miss Mar-
garet Crich, fitted in very appropri-

the Morning," after which . Mrs.
Laing led in prayer. 'After the read-
ing of the minutes and the various
reports were even, arrangements
vviere made for the social meeting to
be .held Wednesrday- afternoon,
June 24th, at the ;home of Mrs. M.
McDermid. A transportation, com-
mittee was appointed with Mrs. Bar-
ran- converre'r. Mrs. Hinohley read a.
paper on "The Jioy of Christian Stew-
ardship," which was followed by the
roll call. The devotional period was

Reid iprei14-ng. The hymn, "Take
My Life and Let It Be," was sung
and Mrs. Lasing lead the devotional
