COSTUMED CHILDREN PARADE TO RINK Bigger and better than ever is the slogan for this year's Lions Club Hallowe'en Frolic, which win be held on Thursday Of next week in the Pal- ace Rink, .Seaforth. • The Lions. Ha11o�we'en Frolic is get- ting to be something of an 'institu- tion inSeaforth and district. Old and young look forward to it as one Of the outstanding events of the year. !Primarily planned to raise funds with Whicili to (carry on the Lions 'Club many welfare works, the frolic at the same time gives everyone a run for his money and provides a real Hallowe'en night for the young- sters. Sharp at 8 p.m. the show gets un- der way with a parade of children do dostume and headed by the Sea - forth Highlanders Band. The parade will leave the corner of 'Main and Goderich Streets and proceed to the Rink. Here Lions Boswell, Mills, Mullen and Holmes will individually welcome every guest. The admission is only ten cents and the kids are free. Bingo will be' back this year stronger than ever. Chilef.-en's, events will be looked after by Lions Jackson, Meir, Smith, Burrows, Ross, Appleyard and Hus- sey. And if the number of contest- ants are anything like they were last year they will have their hands full. At the end of the evening the new car'and other valuable prizes will be drawn for at the ;Rink and the lucky winners declared. Lion Charles Stew- art, who throughout the evening will have tickets on the prizes for sale, will be in charge. And ending it all yvil1 be the Lions midnight show at the Regent Theatre where "In Caliente," featuring De- lores, Del Rio and other famous stars, will be playing.
