-Former Resident Dies in Saskatche-
wan -The death of William Ireland,
a natisve -of Tuckerstnifith, occu "ied at
his home near Climax, Sask., on Feb.
5th, after the decea-sed had suffered
acutely for some months with a
painful disease. The late Mr. Ire�
land was born 69 yearns ago an the
Mill Road, south of Sea,for-th, and
was.wel.l known to many of the older
residents of this dlistnet. He is sur-
vived by his widows formerly Ealen
Hays, a sisterr of Messrs. James and
Adam Hays, of town. Three bro-
thers of the deceased, Robert, Nor-
man and Hdrirey, who were, all nerigh-
bors of the deceased at Climax, suy-
vive him, as well as, Xss Jane Ire-
ll,and, and 11M*. lWiielbeirg, formerly
Elizaberth Ireland, also of the West.
A sister, MTs. norntats, Archibald, of
McKillorp, and, a brother, Dr. James
Ireland, of Milverton, prede�ea�sed

Death of Miss Mary Crooks
The death occurred at the hGmse, of
Mr. W. R. Archibald on Wednesday,
February 6th, of Miss Mary Cr—ks�
in her 76th yt,ar. On. Sunday Miss
Crooks suffered a Gevereo stroke from
ri�,
which she _,ver rafllied, passing
peacefubly away -on Wednesday. The
deceased had �spent her early life- in
the Township of East Wawanosh, but
for ther past ,37 years had, made her
home with Mr. and Mrs, Archibald.
She was a Irrie,mber of St. Moma�sl
Arighcan Church, Seaforth, and while
heal'th pennitted, was a reguilar at-
tendant at church services. Althaugh
A Woman of reserved manner, she
war. well known in this district where
s,he was beld, in the highest esteem
for her kind Christian character.
