SPLENDID SHOW AT
REGENT ENDS FROLIC
Drawing For Prizes Also
in Midnight Show
Program.
The midnight show at the Regent
Theatre following the Frolic, will be
a new departure this year. It has
only been made possible through the
kindness of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Suth-
erland, who have turned the theatre
over to the Lions Club for this show
as their contribution to the Crippled
Children's Fund. You can be assur-
ed, therefore, that every cent paid in
admissions (less government tax)
goes to the crippled children and cora-
1 munity welfare fund.
A special feature' talkie and spe
cial comedies are being procured and
these, together with the drawing for
prizes, will make an enjoyable pro-
gram. The show will commence at
11.15 and the drawing will take place
before the feature picture is shown.
Tickets for the show may be ob-
tained at the theatre, at the rink on
Frolic Night, or from any Lion.
Ed. Keating, Dr: Bechely, Jerry
Stewart and A. Y. McLean will ex-
tend the glad hand on the dance floor
and see that every one_ has a ticket.
At 11.15 the entire crowd goes to
the big midnight show at the Regent
Theatre, where each and every 35
cents. paid for admission goes into
the ,crippled children's fund through
the,' -kindness of Mr. and '.Mrs. H. J.
'Sutherland, who have donated the
theatre and special pictures to the
Lions for the evening. Here, be-
tween pictures, the big draw will take
place with Lions Dr.' Bill Sproat and
Charlie 'Stewart officiating. The
drawers will be W. H. Golding, M.P.,
Mayor A. D. .SUtherland, George A.
Jackson and K. M. 'McLean.
We repeat: It will be a big night.
