quet of Johanna Hill roses and Co-

wearinmg a frock of rose beige crepe
-evith white hat and shoes. The groom
was attended by Jos. Ryan, of 'Wal-

nie Johnston, was United in marriage
'to Robert Nelson 'Reid, only son of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reid, Walton.

Duff's United Church, performed the

'fifty friends and relatives. The house

'scheme of pink and White with a pro-
fusion of June roses and peonies•. The
ibri'de, who was given in marriage by
her father, was charming in a gown
of powders blue 'chiffon with a deep
lace collar, and a white gold pendant,

and took her place beneath an arch

the strains orf the bridal chorus from
Lahengrin, played by Miss Gertrude
• Miller, a friend of the bride, who

a 'bouquet of Ophelia roses and fern.

'mling, Wanton: 'Pink roses and
streamers of pink crepe paper were
used in 'decorating the tables, while
the bride's table was centred with the
wedding cake and a beautifully dec-
orated miniature cake was. placed be-
fore the bride's parents, it being the
occasion of their 29th wled'ding' anni-
ver'sar'y, Mr. and Mrs. Reid) left by
motor for Northern Ontario, the bride
travelling in a Bordeaux suit with
contrasting hat and shoat: The bride-
groom's gift to the bridesmaid was a
sslvsr compact, to the best man white
gold cuff links, the organist and solo -
silver salt and pepper shakers.'
The bride was the recipient of many
