The Zion congregation held their
anniversary services in this church on
Sunday last. There was a large
.crowd present, both morning and
evening. Rev. Sinclair; --of Hensal'1,
delivered a very fine address in the
morning, also. Rev. Lloyd, of Gran-
-ton, in the evening. -
Mr. and Mrs. James Willis Jr., and
daughter visited at the home of Mrs.
.John Johns on Sunday last. • -
Mr. John Allison and daughter,
Mlarrjorie, and 'Mal•ion, of 'S'pringfield,
also 'Misses Joy and' Evelyn Whitlock
.of St. Thomas, visited in this com-
munity over the week end. .

Mr. Shortreed had some repairing

of Duff's United Church was held in

Gavin. Following a short talk by

ing closed with a hymn and prayer
`by Mr. 'Colin Fingl-and. The meeting
next Sunday evening will be in charge
of the Citizenship 'Co'mhrlittee.
