One of the principal reasons for a Subscription Campaign is to e

roll new subscribers. For. that .reason it has been decided to give
50,000 extra votes for each year, or 70,000 votes in all for a one
year new subscription. New subscribers will be given the balance
of the year 1932 free.

returns for the week between Tuesday,
December 6th, and Monday, December

This is a Special Prize and in addition to the regular Grand

Consolation Prizes
A •number of prizes will be announced near the
end of the campaign, which will assure every
Active Worker, not receiving a grand prize, Shit -
able remuneration for results produced.

Each week -a Special Prize will be given to the
candidate who secures best results for that week.
These prizes are in addition to the grand prize
awards and consolation'prizess.
Every Active Candidate
Guaranteed to Win
'The First Five Candidates securing the larg-
est credits at the conclusion of the campaign
will receive the choice of the five grand awards,
according to the standing in whish they appear.
All other active candit3ates will receive a Con-
solation Prize, announcement of which will be
made later.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. -=Any remit -able many woman, boy or
girl is eligible to join the club.'
2. --+No employee of this newspaper or
mlemihers of an employee's immediate fam-
ily may become a member of •the club. This
does ret apply to carrier boys, news -deal-
ere or correspondents.
3.—This club is for individuals—not or-
ganizations.
4.--1Winners will be decided by their cred-
its, said eredits being represented! by bal-
lots issued for subscriptions.
5.—Club members maywork where they
please,, collecting back subscriptions and
renewals as well as new' subscriptions,
and credits will be issued on all.
6.—(Cp.sh must accompany all orders
where credits are desired. Each club mem-
ber is an authorized agent of this news-
paper, and it is distinctly understood that
EACH member will be RESPONSIBLE
FOR MONEY and remit amounts in full
to ,the campaign department.
T.—Credits are not transferable. One
Jnemiber cannot withdraw in favour of
another. ,Subscriptions cannot be tea.ns-
ferred from orse member to another, and
'any such transferred business' will•. be sub-
ject to disqualification at the discretion of
the campaign manager.
8.—ICrediths Rna. `''be held in reserve or
polled, at the discretion of the club mem-
ber, up to and including the last day of
the campaign, except at discretion of the
club manager.
9.—Qn the event of a tie for any of the
award, prizes identical in value will 'be
awarded to each tying club member.
10.—Any collusion on the part of club
melmibers to the detriment of other club
members will not be tolerated. Any club
member entering into or taking part in
such combination will forfeit all right to
any prize.
11. --.There will be several prizes awarded
to ACTIVE non -prize winners, but it is
distinctly understood that ANY club mem-
ber failing to make a cash report at least
once each week shall be declared INAC-
TIVE, and, he or she will be disqualified
and will forfeit all right to any prize.
However, missed reports may be m. de up
when the member desires to do so.
12, --This newspaper reserves the right to
offer special credits at any tirn.e during the
campaign and to correct typographical
errors that may occur in any of its an-
nouncements.
13.—No statement or promise, either writ-
ten or verbal, made by anyone- varying
from the rules as set forth will be recog-
nized. Any questions concerning the club
will be settled by the campaign manager
according to the mules; and hie decision
will .he,, final and conclusive.
14.— lLn .becoming a member or participat-
ing in this campaign, club mem>Ibexs agree
to abide by the above conditions.
15. --rhe management reserves the right
to alter or add to above prize list, except
that value of prizes will not be reduced.
