Home and School Association. -The
Heme and School Association will hold
a Christmas party on Mondiay even-
irig, December 10th, at 8 p.m. This

Collegiate Commencement. - The
Fifth Annual Commencement of the
Seaforth Collegiate Institute will be
held in Cardno's Hall on the evening
of Friday, Deceimber 7th, at 8.15 p.m.
The programme will consist of drills,
dances, choruses, pyramid formations ,
presentation, of diplonin and a short
play. The list of those to whom
Diplomas Will be granted -will ,be giv-
en in next week's issue of the local
papers. The plan of the hall will be
opened at Aberhart's Drug Store at
9 a.m. Tuesday, December 4th. Ticket-,

mem's Missionary Society, Barbara
Kirkman Auxiliary iand, the Ciradian
Girls in Training of First Presbyter -
!an Church, was held on Tuesday eve-
ning, November 27th, with a very
large attendance. Mrs. K. M. MeLean
President of the Worqerfs Missionary
Society, pT-esided. The meeting open-
ed with ITymn 212, followed by the
Bible reading by Mrs. Patterson,
Miss Edlith McKay read the, Glad Tid-
ings prayer. Hymn 270 was sang
and the announcements made. -11iiss
Gretta Ross gave a very interesting
pal:er on British Guiana, one of the
new mission fields. A quarsette,
composed of Misses Murray, Beattie,
Patterson and Mrs,. Wright, renderea
