CEMETERY NOTICE
The annual meet116 of the Board of Man-
agers for the Maklandbank Cemetery report
a very favorable year. TR,le is the amt year
is its history that the Board have been able
to make a payment of interest on the money
originally invested in the cemetery. But it
frac Met been done. In addition W thlu. a
large portion of Section B and a part of
LSeetion 41 has been renovated and graded to
a uniform surface and seeded with the (neat
of grass need, and with very pleasing te-
rmite. Much more than the usual amount of
work has been donne In a general wayduring
the pant year. The Managers such
pleased with the work and much more 'tum
pleased with the favorable commenn,r of the
public.
Our plans for 1928 are a. follows:
1. A aarotaker from Muy lot till the latent
possible working date in the full.
2. A water supply centrally located r0 the
cemetery(.
3. p' make a uniform grading of th en-
tire Section A. which 1n the large section r -
'ng west of the entrance drive and facia
the concession.
4. The. plans are the major plans; mlru,r
pinna will automatically work in with these.
Now let us be frank. These are plate, NOT
PROMISES. Jost how far these plans will
be carried out depend exactly on how much
they are financially appreciated' by the pub-
lic. Much has been said about Bad condi-
tion of things in the cemetery a a„ P6,a0,, .tic
Ma), 1922. So the present management pro-
posed a real houne.eleanirrg of the cemetery
and pent juot 9401.01e for that purpune u
the burial lots alone. 3Bllls were faithfully
rendered to each lot owner ps his lot was
improved with the result that 984 only w
paid to the Treasurer for the work, and the
improvementa were consequently halted half
way. It c m money to improve cemetery
and naturally thoar whose lots are so im-
proved would pay for the improvement. And
for this reason we nay that the amount of
work done will depend on your finanolal ap-
preciation.
Che annual fee for upkeep is due on June
Tit, and is payable to the 'Creannrer.
In future an order for burial will be re-
quired before a grave can be opened.
This order is obtainable from the Secretary.
Owing to certain aces of vandalism 1•y c
rain persons, the Board M Managers find sit
necemary W prosecute any Demote,
pruning in in the cemetery property after sun-
down. This will not interfere "with any one
having legitimate business in 12re tory.
The Cemetery Committee for 1928 -
Chairman, S. T. Holm.; Secretary-treesuror,

"BRUSHING UP"
That's the new name given to the
daily cleaning duties about the home by
hundreds of house -keepers. They call
It ``brushing up," for they have found
that the great variety of brushes, mops,
and dusters make their cleaning duties
more like play -work than house -work.
One of the most important task of
housekeeping is Boor care. The broom
is very necessary and the new brooms
.lade of fiber have been found more
satisfactory for all round sweeping re-
quirements because they sweep cleaner,
sweep easier, wear down evenly and
last at least three times as long as the
old corn brooms. For dusting wood
floors, the long handled, chemically
treated floor mops are the very thing.
Keeping the walls free from dust re-
quires more effort and worry than ary
other part of the cleaning unless the
housewife has one of the long handled
wall brushes of fine soft hair that lift
streak the paper. For daily dusting
rounds, the long handled dusters can't
be beat. Then there are radiator brush-
es, brushes for upholstery, for furniture,
lamp shades, bathtubs, toilet bowls, win-
dows, in fact, a brush for every con-
ceivable task.
Forty-five of these brushes, mops and
dusters are demonstrated and sold in
your home by the Fuller Man, a per-
sonal representative of the Fuller Brush
Company. Next time the Fuller Man ,
calls ask him to show you the Fuller
Brush sets for "Spring Cleaning."

you'll know why thousands of women
prefer me to all other brooms.
