officiated. The bride, who wore her
travelling suit of navy blue tricotine
with Gainsborough model hat and veil
to match, and carried a beautiful
boquet of roses and lilies of the
valley, was attended by ber sister,
Miss Muriel J. Docherty, and given
at her home, 358 Bersford Avenue,
Toronto. Although not in good health
for some time, Mrs. Somerville was
able to be about as usual, and death
came very suddenly and unexpected-
ly. The deceased, who before her
marriage, was Miss Eva M. Purkis,
was born at Thornhill, Ontario.
Twenty-eight years ago she was unit-
ed 'in marriage to Mr. William Somer-
ville, and came to reside in Seaforth,
which was her .home until two years
ago, when Mr. Somerville sold his
business and residence here and re-
moved to Toronto. Bi•sides her hus-
band she is survived by two sisters
and, one brother, all of whom reside
in Toronto. The sincerest sympathy
of many Seaforth friends -is extended
to Mr. Somerville in his bereavement.
