MAIN STREET - - SEAFORTH
SEAFORTR FALL FAiR
Seaforth Agricyltural Society were
favored ,witei exceptionally ting wea-
ther and a record attendance at their
annual dell fair on Friday of last
week. Not only was there a marked
increase in the attendance, but also
in the number and quality of the e:-
hibits. One feature that is gaining
in popularity and size each .year is
the school 'children's department,
which this year 'had over 112 entries
and was the centre of an interested
crowd oYppectaters cutin the whole
afternoon, in fact the accommodation
provided was not sufficient for either
the display of the exhibits or those
who wished to see them. This, how-
ever, will be remedied in another
year when the directors will have a
better idea 'of line space required.
One other best feature of the fair
was the parade of school children,
which headed by the Band, marched
several hundred strong, from Victoria
Park to the Fair Grounds, while Main
Street was lined with spectators to
see the pretty sight. In the stock
exhibits there was a much better en-
try in cattle and poultry than usual,
cattle being the largest and 'best ex-
hibit in some years. In the heavy
horse classes there were some very
fine animals, as the exhibitors from
this district who were prize winners
at the recent London fair had their
stock in .the ring, and no better qual-
ity has as bsen seen atat
Y
fair in On-
tario 'this year, but the entry Was not
a large ane. Light 'horses, however,
were well up to the average both in
numbers and quality. On the whole
the fair this year was an excellept
one and in some respects a record
one. The following is a list of the
successful exhibitors:

MAIN STREET - - SEAFORTH
SEAFORTR FALL FAiR
Seaforth Agricyltural Society were
favored ,witei exceptionally ting wea-
ther and a record attendance at their
annual dell fair on Friday of last
week. Not only was there a marked
increase in the attendance, but also
in the number and quality of the e:-
hibits. One feature that is gaining
in popularity and size each .year is
the school 'children's department,
which this year 'had over 112 entries
and was the centre of an interested
crowd oYppectaters cutin the whole
afternoon, in fact the accommodation
provided was not sufficient for either
the display of the exhibits or those
who wished to see them. This, how-
ever, will be remedied in another
year when the directors will have a
better idea 'of line space required.
One other best feature of the fair
was the parade of school children,
which headed by the Band, marched
several hundred strong, from Victoria
Park to the Fair Grounds, while Main
Street was lined with spectators to
see the pretty sight. In the stock
exhibits there was a much better en-
try in cattle and poultry than usual,
cattle being the largest and 'best ex-
hibit in some years. In the heavy
horse classes there were some very
fine animals, as the exhibitors from
this district who were prize winners
at the recent London fair had their
stock in .the ring, and no better qual-
ity has as bsen seen atat
Y
fair in On-
tario 'this year, but the entry Was not
a large ane. Light 'horses, however,
were well up to the average both in
numbers and quality. On the whole
the fair this year was an excellept
one and in some respects a record
one. The following is a list of the
successful exhibitors:
