VARNA
Notes. ---The Varna Farmers' Club
will hold an •open meeting on Tues-
day evening, January 4th, at 8 p.m.,
to receive a report from Mr. Welch
on the great Toronto convention. Mr.
Welch together with 3,000 other dele-
gates, was disgusted with the attitude
of the Toronto press respecting the
'€T. F. 0. and the attempt to misrep-
resent the movement, will be dealt
with during the evening. Mr. Welch
will be supported by the delegates
from the Clinton, Brucefield, Goshen
and Bronson Clubs. It is expected
that the capacity of the Varna town
hall will be taxed to the limit.
BRUCEFIELD
Notice. As Mr. Frank Walsh is to give
an address at Varna on Tuesday evening,
January 4th, and many of our members will
want .to hear him, we 'will hold our club
meeting on Monday evening, January 3rd, in
Walker's 'Hall, when orders for salt will he
taken, as we are ordering a car load. Or-
ders for twine will also be considered. A
