June wedding was solemnized at St.
Columban at 9 a.rn. on Tuesday, when
Joseph William Jordan, third son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jordan, of Hib-
bert; was married to Miss Mary
Agnes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

looked charming in white silk and
lace, white hat and carried a shower
bouquet of white roses and lily of
the valley. She was attended by Miss
Mary Jordan, of Toronto, who wore
apricot silk with overdress of apricot
georgette, black picture hat, and car-
ried pink roses. The groom was

Father White, P.P., performed the

The banner carried had the words of

Address and Presentation.—Miss
Kathleen Sullivan was honored by her
neitooltnates and presented with an
address on the 5th inst., before leav-
ing for London to train for a nurse.
Dearest Kathleen:—We have heard,
with feeling of deep regret, that you
Isar e "decided tqr flit away to pastures
r1ew and to leave behind you, at least
for a time, the old scenes and the
fuiniliar faces. But our regret is not
utit,tixc•d- with joy when we contem-
plate the work in which you are to be
est^'aged. ' To devote one's life to al-
leriating.the physical miseries of our
fellow beings is indeed a noble work
artrl one very dear to the heart of
our Divine Lord, who, when he was
on this earth, went about healing the
sick and relieving their pains. We
cams this evening therefore to offer
our expressions of good -will and our
best wishes f r your welfare. Vito
have shared r the joys and
sorrows of evil cod and girlhood,
and now that you are leaving us we
take a joy in wishing you ;God speed.
Please accept this hand purse and club
bag as a slight token :of our sincere
regard, accompanied by our prayers,
for your future success and know that
many loving hearts are waiting to
welcome you whenever you come
again into our midst. Signed on be-
half of your many friends, your past
schoolmates. Miss -Margaret Howard
read the address and Misses Margaret.
and Jean McConnell, presented the
purse and club bag.' Mrs. James
Krauskopf treated the young folks to
luncheon, and a few hours were spent
in games and music. Miss Sullivan
was the adopted daughter of Mrs. Jas.
Krauskopf.
