- M013 brood., August 10th, Cattle - A
feature of the trade was the increased
demand from packers for canning
cattle and quite an activ.e business
was done in this line at steady prices.
There was no important change in the
condition of the maeket for . butchers'
rattle. Owing to tile steady increase
in the receipts of lambs, the market
has continued weak and prices scored
a further ncreased. of 25c per 100 lb's.
The market for sheep remains steady
with a good demand. A :firmer feel-
