ton, on truesday of last week, the fol-
lowing members being present: Drs.

The Patriotic Fund. -The following
accounts in connection iwith the gather-
ing, packing and despatching of the
products contributed by the .people of
Huron lately to the Beigian Relief Fund
under the direction of ` the County
Council were passed by "the Council at
their recent .meeting and ordered to
be paid. There were 5,131 barrels used,
the barrels and sacks costing 41,324.91.
Labor and other expenses amounting
to $3,209.99, lthe whole bill being $4.-
n34.90. The -=following are i the itemized

the marriage of their daughter, Cissa
J., to IM'r. Alfred. .Coates of this Town-
ship. The %bride entered the parlor ac-
companied by her father .and took her
place in (front of a bank of flowers
,white the wedding march was being
played by her sister, Miss Edna. The
bride wore a pretty .wedding gown of
cream silk eoleen trithmed :with shadow
lace. ;She carry a shower !bouquet,
of twhiite carnations. Both bride and
groom were unattended. Atter the cere-
mony e. very sumptuous wedding re-
peat ;w,as served. Thebride was the
recipient of many handsome :and cost-
ly presents. The groom's gift to the

meeting in Willis Church, Clinton, on
Tuesday. December 8th. There 'were.
