Trade was slow, bulls selling at 64.75 to 66, and cows. at $3.66 to $4 per 100 pounds. There was practically- no change in the market for butchers' cattle. Good to choice- steers were scarce. Best steers were offered ,at 67.25, but the bulk of the trading wasidene at prices _ranging from' $6.25 to $7 per 'cwt. A strongell feeling developed in the lamb market today' and ;prices advanced 10c per .100 pounds, owing to. lighter receipt.Saie of Ontario, tato& were made at 67,33 to 17.60, and Quebec at ,$6.85 to 67.10 per cwt._ Sheep ,were unchanged, ewes at *460 to $435- per cwt.
