boardi of health met in the afternoon and re-
ceived the annual eport of Dr. MacCal-
lum,, health off -eel.", from which it appears

demi of measles in a mild form, and during
the ht weather of August and September
ther were a number, of cases of intestinal
diaoaders, from which cause quite a number
of deaths occurred. In the report the at-
tentidn of the board is called to the large
death,- rate this year from pulmonary and
tuba:Miler diseases, there being five deaths
from this cause alone. Otherwise the town-
ship ie free from epidemics and in a good
sanitary condition. The number ot deaths
from; all causes reported to the division
registlrar is 29, being very near one per
cent, of the population.
