MATRI %ION IA L.—On ednesday evening
April 5th, one of those e ents which set th
young people all in a flu ter, took place in
the home of Mr. Cicero Aldwortb, of the
fourth concession, in the township of Hay.
The oceasion was the ma riage of his young-
est daughter, Miss Chris ina, to Mr. 'Nelsen
Northcott, a prosperous young fernier of
the same toWnship. The bride was elegant-
ly dressed in cream silk, trimmed with silk
lace and insertion, with roses and car-
natioes. Shewas assisted by Miss Jeasie
Northcott, sister of the groom, who was
gowned in a lovely dress of white muslin,
trimmed with lace and flowers. Mr.Charles
Aldwortle brother of the bride, assisted the
groom. Rev. C. Smith, pastor of Main
Street, Exeter, and Sexamith Methodist
churches, performed the oerenaony in the'
"presence of aver fifty invited guests. Miss
Maud. Russell played the wedding merah.
This over, all sat down to a sumptuous re-
past, to which ample justice was done.
Afterwards a very pleasant social time was
spent. The numerous and costly preeents
testified to the high esteem in which the
bride is held. She has been for many years
the accomplialied organist of SexSmith
church, The many friends of the youne
couple join in wishing them bon voyage
over the matrimonial sea.

IThe season will be here with a rush—be ready for it.
Some years ago we selected "The Crescent" and "Wel
land Vale," representing American and Canadian manu-
facture, as the best wheels, everything considered. Each
recurring year confirms the Wisdom of our choice. We
never have to make excuses for bad wheels sold last year.
Why pay alrcost as much for an unknown one, and regret
it before the season is out? Call and inspect the ever
reliable ones. . They are right up to date, or drop a eard
