The barge Seneca, loaded with coal from Oswego, bound for Montreal, was laying at the dock, when the Captain.discovered the barge was leaking. He sent two of his mel- down the hold to ascertain the ex- tent of the leak. The two men were very badly burned, one probably fatally. —The grand wind up of the third an- niversary of the entry of the Salvation Army into London took place the other night. A large procession, in which $trathroy, Lucan, Dorchester and other places were represented, marched from the Market Square to the barracks, where tea was served up. After tea the Army adjourned to the Queen's Avenue. Rink,. where a large crowd awaited the opening of the meeting. This Captain Wass did in the usual Way, and later on Major and Mrs. Coombs arrived and the Major took charge. Addresses were delivered by Major Coombs, Captain Wass, Captain Hall, Mrs. Coombs and many others. The experience of the soldiers and the singing of hymns took up the time until about 10.30 when the meeting broke up. 4 matrimonial event, it is. said, will take place in London shortly, in which Captain Wass and Captain Hall will fill the principal positions.
