Holloway's Ointments an.d Pills.
Colds, Coughs, Shertness of Breath. -
These maladies require early and un-
remitting attention, for if neglected
they often end in asthma, bronchitis, or
consumption. The Ointmeht well
rubbed upon, the chest and bst, pene-
trating the skin, is absorbed an carried
directly to the lungs, whence it expels
all impurities. All the blood in the
body is perpetually passing through the
lungs, and there all noxious particles
tending to 'disease cau be quickly,
thoroughly, tnd permanently neutra-
lized, rende ed harmless, or ejected
from the s stero. Holloway's Oint-
ment and ll'.'ils perfectly accomplish
this purification ,; and -through the
blood thus loleansed, the influence of
these wonderful Medicaments reaches
the remotest parts of the human body,
and thus cures all diseased action,
whether intethal or external. 10

For man it is now

the best, if not the
best, liniment ever

FROM OOL. L. T. FOSTER.
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio, May 10, 1880.
Dr. B. J. Kendall & Co. -Gents: I had a very valuable Harcibletonian colt
which X prized very highly; he had a large bone spavin on one joint, and a
smaller one on the other, which made him very lame ; I had hini under the,
charge f two veterinary surgeons, which failed to cure him. I was one day
reading the advertisement of Kendall's Spavin Cure in the Chicago Express. I
determined at once to try it, and got our druggists here to send. for it; they or-
dered t ree bottles; I took them all, and thought I would give it a thorough
trial; I used it according to directions, and by the fourth day the cot ceased to
be lame and the lumps had entirely disappeared. I used but one bo tle, and the
colt's limbs are as free from lumps and as smooth as any horse in th State. He
is entirely cured. The mire was so remarkable that I let two of My neighbors
have the remaining two bottles, who are now using it. Very respectfully, L. T.
FOSTER.
KENDALL'S SPAVIN OUREJ
ONEONTA, NOW York, Jan. 6tn, 1881.
Early last summer Messrs. B. J. Kendall & Co., of Enosburg Fall ,Vermont,
made a contract with the publishers of the Press for a half colum advertise-
ment for one year setting forth the merits of Kendall's Spavin Cu e.Antath,s
e
same time we secured from the firni a quantity of books, entitled D .Ked
Treatise on the Horse and his Diseases, which we are giving to adv nee paying
subscribers to the Press as -a premium. .
About the time the advertisement first appeared in this paper Mr. . G. Scher-
merhorn, who resides near Colliers had a spavined horse. He read t e advertise-
ment and concluded to test the efficacy of the remedy, althorig his friends
laughed at his ored.ulity. He bought a bottle of Kendall's Spavin Cure and com-
menced using it on the horse in acceirdance with the directions, and he informed
ne this week that it effected such a complete cure that an expert horeeman, who
examined the animal recently could find no trace of the spavin or the place where
it had been located. Mr. Schermerhorn has since secured a copy elf 'Kendall's
'Treatise on the Horse and his Diseases, which he prizes very highly and would be
loth to part with it at any price, provided he could not obtainanoth7 copy. So
much for advertising reliable articles.
KENDALL'S, SPAVIN , CURE!
Kendall's Spavin Cure is sure in its effects, mild in its actions as it does not
blister, yet it is penetrating and powerful to reach any deep seated pan or to re-
move any bony growth ot hny other enlargement if used for several days, such as
spavins, splints, curbs, callous, sprains, swellings; any lameness and all eialarge-
manta of the joints or limbs, or rheumatism in man and for any purpose for
which a liniment is used for man or beast. It is now known to be the best lini-
ment for man ever used, acting mild and yet certain in its effects. It 'sued full
strength with perfect safety at all seasons of the year.
Send address for Illustrated Circular which we think gives positive proof of its
virtues. No remedyhas ever met with such unqualified success to our knowledge,
for beast as well as man. 4

ANOTHER GREAT BOOM IN WINNIPEG
pY casual observation, we find all lead specula-
tors have a clear head, and watch the ups ah.d
downshf property, thus making large fortunes.
But the whole secret is,they keep the system in a
a healthy condition by the use of THE PRIDE
OPTHE VALLEY MEDICINE. We can safely
say that hundreds come to us for the great lung
and blood purifier before going West, Read the
following statement. We could give' thousands
of the same kind if it were necessary. "1 certify
that I was troubled with catarrh in the head,
gathering of phlegm in the throat, choking and
coughing at night for years, so I could not sleep;
often troubled with dull, lifeless feelings, pains in
the chest and back. After giving bhndreds of
dollars to doctors, and giving up all hopes. I tried
the P.nrnr or THE VALLEY, and am reew able to
do my work after seven year's sickness." Mrs.
James McNeil, 202 Simms Street, London, Out.
The above statement of my wife's is correct,
James MeNeil. For lode by all druggists in
