Bird s assessment. Wm. Paw on's as-
sess ant was corrected by the ssessor.

tow , ship clerk of Morris, stat ng that
Mor "s had resolved to allow statute
labor for one tier of lots at the east end
of the township to be performed on
graver road, and asking G-rey to do the
same. In the matter of Richard Pear
son's petition, the Reeve and Mr. Bryan
were authorized to attend to it as also
the petition of R. Ross. The Reeve
was authorized to obtain legal advice
as t McAllister's dam: backing up
wate • and causing injury to the road.
Reg, ding the petition•of Win. Fulton,
to co er cross -way on side road, lot 15,
and 116, concession 15, as said cross -way
is in a bad state of repair, Messrs. Oli-
ver and Hyslop were instructed to at-
fond o it, the work not to exceed $50.
Mess s. Bryan and Oliver were instruct-
ed to examine and report on side road,
lots 2 and. 21, concessions 10 and 11.
The Reeve and Mr. Bryan were author-
ized to have a new bridge built at lots
26 anti 27, concession 2, and repairs to
bridge on side -road near Molesworth.
Concerning the applieation of • John
Grant, Jr., for road making, concession
5, lot 32, so as to secure him egress from
the lot, the Reeve was instructed to see
to it. The Reeve was authorized to pay
what money he considers proper on
account of drain, Concession 7 and 8.

of Ayr were generally small tenants,

selves, saving and breeding from the
offapri g of good milkers, and driing off
