• —The annual meeting of the Senth Huron
Agricultural Society wai held at Kippen
on Wednesdey last. Owing to the
„ stormy weather and bad roads the at-
- tendence was not large. All the old
• officers and directors, with the exception
• of the Secretary, were re-elected. Mr.

-of Secretary very efficiently for a number
of years, refused to act longer, and Mr.
S. Smillie, of Teckersmith, was appoint-
ed in his stead. Mr. Smillie will make a
