chase the NORTHERN GRA i•L ROAD, with
the view of abolishing the collee ion of Tolls on
all the Gravel Roads in the said County.
And WREREAS to cany 1nt4 effect the said
recited object, it will be necssar for the Council
of the said Corporation to rafite t estate of Twenty
Thousand Dollars in the manner licrebrnitor man-

W.B.EREAS, the amount If the whole rate-
able property in the County of 31-tirOn, irrespective
of any future increase in the saMe and irrespec-
tive of any income to be derivedfrom the tempor-

cent. per annum. The annual interest to be paid
on the said debt ie Fifteen Thondand Five Hund-
red and Eighteen Dollars and Eighty Cents, upon

And WHEREAS, it will require the sum of Two
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars to be raised an -
=tally by apeeial rate for the • paymerit of the
said -debt and interest, as also . hereinafter men-

creating an equal annual Sitilin Fund for paying
the said stun of Twenty Thou and Dollars and

an equal annual special rate of ne Hundred and

a Mill in the Dollar'in addition Ito tall other rates
and taxes to be levied in each yair.
Be it therefore -enacted by, the Council of the
Corporation of the County of 1.111a -on. :
lst.-Thatit shall liti lawful for the Warden of
th(le said County of Huron to rai e by way of loan
from aey person or persons.' boy or bodies cor-
porate, who maybe willing to it ivance the same
upon the eredit of the Debatares hereinafter
mentioned, a RUM not exceedingtan the whole the
sum- of Twenty Thousand Dollails, and tense the
same to be paid into the hands df the Treasurer of
the County aforesaid for the purposes and -with
tbe object above recited.
2(1. -That it shall be lawful tar the said War-
den to -cause =any number of Debentures to be
made for such slime of money, not less than One
llmnired Dollars each, -and that the said Deben-
tures shall be sealed Witham seal of the said Cor-
poratian and be signed by the Warden and cam-
tereigned by the Treasurer of the said County.
811. -That the said Debentures shall be made
payable in twenty years at furthest from the day
hereinafter mentioned for this By -Law to take ef-
fect, at:the office of the Treaaurer of the said
Comaty- of Huron, and shall lave attached to
them coupons for the payment Of the interest an-
nually, signed by the said Warden and. Treasurer.
4th. -That the said Debenttares and Coupons
shall be made out in the carreney of this Domin-

rates and taxes beraised, levied and collected in
