The country roads leading to this mar- kket are filled with snow, rendering travel ult, and, ie some places, dangerous. Th delivery of new cheese, therefore, is .much lighter, both from farm. dairies and -factories, than it would have been had the condition of the roads been favorable. Farm -dairy cheese corning forward is badly skimmed, since the high price of butter for the past six weeks has induced 'farmers to get all,- the _cream they con- veniently on veniently could from the milk. Farm dairies to -day went low -from 5c. to 12c., according to quality. The bulk of sales 'inay be quoted at about 8c. to 9e. Factory cheese is also more or less skimmed, the unusually had. roads in March preventing the frequent delivery of n ilk., and hence mach cream remain- ed back in farmers' hands. - Factories now are drawing the .line more sharply au their patrons, and the cheese being hide it of better quality. The following factories to -day sold new cheese, and, considering the quality, were well satisfied with prices : Middle- ville 13 e.
