On Thursda.y of last week the dead
body of a. woman was taken from the
river at Brantford. It was identified as
that of a girl named Cornelia Kittridge,
who has been missing for some time.
The body bore Marks of foul play, the
throat being cut, and there being other
evidences of violence.
