The Durability of the Machine cannot
be questioned ; the movements being all
hardened, are not likely to get out of re-
pair. The Whole of the works are en-
closed in the, arin, which is firmly secured
to the bed -plate, add •set upon a walnut
top or enclosed in half or full cabinet
case, .as may be ordered.
- It will be observed that there is no
gear of any kind, and. that all the mo-
tions are derived from. the same shaft, -
all the usual, cor.plicated shuffle and
feed -movements being avoided.
The Treadle is adjustible, working
upon "centres" ii brackets which are
fastened to the treadle -bar.
The Wheel runs upon a tapered stud.
