ning westward through Crediton, and

raise the sung of Ten thousand dollars in

thousand dollars and interest as hereinl

in the dollar, in addition to all other
rates and taxes to be levied in each year.
Be it therefore enacted by the Council _
of the Corporation of the Township of
Stephen; of the County of Huron, -
1st. That it shall be lawful for the
Reeve for the time being of the said last
mentioned Corporation, to raise by way
of loan from any person or persons, body
or bodies corporate, who may be willing
to advance the :same upon the credit of
the Debentures -hereinafter mentioned,
a sum not exceeding in the whole Ten
thousand dollars, andto cause the same
to be paid into the hands of the Treas-
urer of said Municipality of the Township
of Stephen, for the purposes and with the
object above recited.
