(Concluded from fourth -.Faye.)
The: Tribune's eorzespondent. at Paris
:says :--E, was told this morning by a gentle-
man attached to the Court that the Empress
is indignant with the Emperor. She says
that he is a .co\vatd and never should have
been takenalive.
Paris, Sept. 7.—Every French town, yet
:heard from, accepts the Republic joyfully.
French engineers are destroying the tunnel
on the railroadrunning east out of Paris.
The P. ussian advance is said to be near
Soissons marching rapidly towards Paris.
Nothing has been received from Strasbourg
this day or two. Trams are arriving hour-
ly, with cavalry .andinfantry from the
front. Hundreds have been imprisoned on
charges qf conspiracy.
Paris, Sept. 7,noon.-Defensive exertions
are still being made. The army continues
to retire before Prussian advance. , There
is no dissent from the necessity of the Re-
public. Everywhere there is great rejoicing,
at the practical removal of rigid Press cen-
sureship. War news and details are now
published without hinderance.
9 long interv-ie x occurred between Jules
Faore and Lord Lyons at Paris, when the
views of the British Cabinet were duly dis-
cuased. Assurances weregiven of Eng-
land's sympathy with France in her pre-
sent distress, and encouragement given of
an early recognition of the Republic. In
fear of distill bailees occurinq, which might
endanger their safety, the valuable crown
and regalia of the Empire has been deposit-
ed in the bank of France for safe keeping.
The enemy continue their onward march
toward Paris, accompanied with a train of
heavy siege artillery, and ammunition, for
a siege. The report is confirmed, that the
Orleans Princes are on their way to Paris,
end it is rumored that the Republican
Ministry are determined to artest them on
their arrival.
A large fire occurred in Chicago yester.
day. The losses will reach $3 000,000. ln-
suredfrom $1,500,000'to $1,800,000. Drake
Block on Wabash Avenue, corner of Wash-
ington street is destroyed. Powell's store
fell in and it is supposed 10 or 12 persons
were killed. Fire -supposed to have been
caused by spontaneous combustion.

THE PAIN KILLER, COURT OF CHAN-
CERY, sC. &C., &C.
Perry Davis and Railway have played out in
the United States, and now they come to this
country, and are trying, with the aid of the
Court of Chancery to -compel -the Canadian. pub-
lic to use ',their nostrums, but they find it u=p-
hill work, as the public has become alive to the
danger of using such nostrums. Radway has to
bladder the corksof his to keep it from eating
them up, and where is the man who would like
to put such trash ihto his stomach ? And the
London " Star,T of the 30th Sepfemlier, 1867,
tells the qualities of Perry Davis' Pain Killer, as
it not only killed the pain of G. A. Hill, but it
killed him, and Davis warns the purchasers to
be careful to get the genuine Pain Killer,—soI
judge that G. A. Hill must have got the genuine,
as they sadmit that his wife gave him a tea-
spoonful of the Pain Killer at -midnight, and •
before the light of day he Was dead:
Perry Davis is dead and so is his Pain Killer,
as was shown by them on oath, in Court last
May, in the City of Hamilton. They swore tha4
I reduced their sales in Canada, in 1865, ove
$10,000, and in three years $27,304, as the
could not compete with me, they asked th
Court of Chancery;' to drive me out of tl
market. -
From the disrepute brought on the word Pai
Killer by the present parties, T have change
name of my Pain Killer formerly, to PAIN Kt
RER. The Pain Kurer has cured cases of tht
the moat obstinate character of Epileptic Fits.
Experience has fully demonstrated that no
remedy has proved so universally prompt 'and
(efficient in relieving Cholera, Cholic, Pains,
Coughs and in fact every pain and ache that,.the
human family is subject to, as the PAIN
KURER ;. it is besides a safe remedy.
KENNEDY'S LINIMENT
Has been the means of curing diseases of various
kinds that hal baffled all other remedies, besides
the skill of our most practical doctors. Victoria
Hanlon, Sister of Charity, cured of Erysipelas,
after a test and suffering of two years, by four of
our leading doctors, and left as a hopeless case.
Mr. White, of Peterborough,—his son made to
walk after being for years without the use of
his limbs and after all the medical faculty had
failed even the notorious Dr. Potts tried his skill
to the amount of fifteen dollars. Joseph Clarkson,
Town of Barrie, his son was restored to his sight,
after being nine months blind.
Clitharine Crawford, Hamilton, cured of para-
lytic stroke, having lost the use of her arm and
hand for six months; and four of our leading doe -
tors tried to cure her, ene tried the Electric Bat-
tery sit times, al to`no purpose, but two bottles
of Kennedy'r Liniment..- casting only 75 cents,
aured her as well as ever she was. Those eases
above are only a few of many thousands in pos-,:
session of the proprietor from all parts of the
world. Yeu will only hear one sentiment, and
that is that a bottle of Kennedy's Liniment is
worth a hundred of any other preparation for cu-
ring everything.
KENNEDY'S HAIR RESTORATIVE
Contains no sulphery sediment norany unhealthy
drab. It will return any head of hair after be-
coming grey, to its natural colour, and -make it
more beautiful than at the age of 18. No lady
or gentleman will ever become bald or ley who
uses Kennedy's Hair Restorative aceording'to di-
rections with each bottle. For immediate dress-
ing and beautifying the hair as well as - a way of
proniotiug its continued- and luxuriant` growth,
the Restorative has no equal.
Use Kennedy's Liquid -Blueing, for Washing
ppurposes_or WritingInk; 'an article that every
Washerwoman should use to know its value as it
will not stread or spot their clothes, ar cause any
sediment in the water.
Use Kennedy's Dead Shot Rat and MiceExter-
minator. .
