Joining Mitchell were OTF representative Joe Hogan and South Huron municipal staff. "This is a wonderful investment for the residents of the community of Crediton," Mitchell said. "Making in- vestments in communities that allow children to stay active and safe will be beneficial for children in the area for years to come." In June, the OTF provided funding to replace the playground equipment in Crediton and help ensure a safe ac- tivity space for the community. "Thanks to the OTF s contribution, new playground equipment for the Crediton community will be enjoyed by youth in South Huron, provid- ing a healthy and safe atmosphere for all to enjoy," Mayor Ken Oke said. South Huron community services manager Jo -Anne Fields said the Crediton Mudcats slo-pitch team identified a need for new playground equipment and made a donation, af- ter which an application for a Trillium grant was made. The new equipment was installed in September. Hogan said the grant request was easy to say yes to.
