Hensall Public holds annual Christmas concert

Congratulations go out to Ashley Ward
and Darryl Drudge who were married
on Sat., Dec. 13 at the Zurich Mennonite
Church. A reception dinner was also
held there.
The bride is the daughter of Deb and
Roger Ward of Zurich. The couple will
be living in Waterloo.
Best wishes for speedy recoveries go
out to Jim Finlay (Dashwood) and Barb
Oesch (Blake) both of whom recently
underwent knee surgeries.
The Boyle family from Southcott Pines
in Grand Bend spent last week in Flor-
ida going to Disney World and various
places.
Christmas break
The children will be off school for the
Christmas holidays from Mon., Dec. 22
until Jan. 5.
A good time was had by all those who
went on a bus trip to Frankenmuth last
Saturday leaving from the Lutheran
Church for the day.
The Zion Lutheran Church will be hav-
ing a live nativity program in Dashwood
on Fri., Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. Everyone is wel-
come to attend.
Their children s Christmas Pageant
will be held on Dec. 21 at 11 a.m.
The decedents of Claude and Madeline
Gelinas held their family pre -Christmas
dinner / get-together / reunion on Sat.,
Dec. 13 at the Hay Township hall with
several relatives coming from various
places for the occasion. They even en-
joyed going on sleigh rides in the after-
noon.
Mike and Anita Hosang and two
daughters enjoyed going on a family
cruise as the couple had recently been
married for 25 years, celebrating in Oc-
tober.
After selling Avon for many years (not
sure how many?) Carmel is giving up
the job. You can call me to hear of a new
sales rep. Thanks to all those who sup-
ported me in the past, especially Jeanne
and Sandy for their help.

parents, friends and relatives attending
and bringing canned good items for the
Blessing s Food Bank.

CONCERNING A PROPOSED ZONING
BY-LAW AMENDMENT
COMMERCIAL SCALE WIND ENERGY FACIUTIES
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation
of the Municipality of Bluewater will hold an
additional public meeting on Mon., Jan. 12,
2009 at 7:00 P.M. in the Municipality of Bluewater
Council Chambers, Stanley Complex, 38594B
Mill Road, west of Varna on County Road 3, to
consider a proposed zoning bylaw under Section
34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.
The purpose of the proposed zoning by-law
amendment is to provide additional opportunity
for the public to make comment on the proposed
by-law amendment. The proposed by-law is
available at www.town.bluewater.on.ca or at the
Bluewater Municipal office in Zurich.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting
and/or make written or verbal representation,
either in support of or in opposition to the
proposed zoning by-law amendment.
