Communities honour memory of the veterans
Marching on Remembrance Day was marked in Hensall with a march from
the Hensall Legion to the United Church for a service, which was followed by a
Cenotaph service. Leading the march to the church were from left, Sgt At Arms.
Pete Swan, Betty Taylor, Hub Thiel from I st Zurich Scouts and Gary Kyle. Below,
Exeter Legion president Len Fleet and Legion Ladies Auxiliary president Sharon
Coulter also laid a wreath at the Exeter service.
Held high Remembrance Day services were held in several towns on Sunday
to mark the service of Canada s veterans.Above from left, Rick Smith, Jim Snow,
Linda Webber and Sgt. at Arms Chris Richard were part of the colour party for the
service at the Exeter Cenotaph. Below, Usborne students Zachary Kady and Karra
McNutt, with Precious Blood students Brianne Skinner and Rachel Robinson were
