Wide-mouth tubs and lids are commonly used to hold many dairy products such as ice cream, margarine, cottage cheese and yogurt. Most wide-mouth tubs found in the household are made of polypropylene (PP) and are recyclable. The material is a highly cost-effective plastic resin. Recycling techniques have allowed for both tubs and lids to be recycled together.
