Did you know that
this park bench...
Wide-mouth tubs and lids are commonly used to hold many dairy products such as ice cream,
margarine, cottage cheese and yogurt. Most wide-mouth tubs found in the household are made
of polypropylene (PP) and are recyclable. The material is a highly cost-effective plastic resin.
Recycling techniques have allowed for both tubs and lids to be recycled together. These materials
are recycled into durable products such as plastic lumber for park benches, and milk crates.
