PPY1 ANKSGIVING
Thanksgiving is a great time to enjoy family, food and fall hikes. Our family loves to
share a `potluck' type dinner and we take advantage of one of Randy's sisters' farm
where we can hike and browse through their pumpkin patch. It is always a great
time! It has been a few years since I put the Crockpot Stuffing into the paper and
it is one of those recipes that are just so handy! Be sure to give it a try. One of
the most successful recipes I have put in has been the Pumpkin Dump Cake and
wanted to include it for Thanksgiving as well as if you neglected to try it last year
this may be your year! Enjoy and have aThankful Weekend!
CROCK POT STUFFING
This is another prepare ahead recipe that
leaves the stuffing out of your last minute prep!
This has been a faithful recipe down through
the years that my mom passed on to me. You
can adjust the seasonings as you like or get
adventurous and add some extra fixings like
apple, cranberries, pecans, raisins, and/or even
substitute apple juice for a bit of the broth.
Just remember to keep the stuffing moist and
stirred regularly.
Stale bread cubed (a mix of white and brown is
nice)
2 onions chopped
2 celery ribs chopped fine
2 TBSP butter or margarine
Sage, salt, black pepper and a pinch of ginger
10 oz can of cream of celery soup
3 pkgs of chicken bouillon dissolved in 1/2 cup
water
Fry the onion and celery in the butter till limp.
Mix the spices, bread and soup with the above
and add the liquid. This should be nice and
moist. Add more water if needed. Put into a
greased crock pot and cook on low 5-6 hours,
stirring regularly. At the end when your turkey
or chicken is done you can add a bit of the
broth for added flavor.
PUMPKIN DUMP CAKE
Lots of people that taste this dessert want the
recipe! Some have been so ready for the
recipe that they take my copy and hand write
it out immediately. It is a winning recipe I got
in a collection from other diners' cooks. I
first made it for the diner's in Exeter and it
even graced the Christmas Dinner for our
senior's programs! You must try this one if
you like pumpkin!
Mix together:
1 29 oz can pumpkin
1 12 oz can evaporated milk
3 eggs
3 tsp cinnamon
1 cup white sugar
Put the mixture in a greased 9 by 13
inch pan and then sprinkle one
yellow cake mix over the mixture.
Sprinkle with about 1/2 cup walnuts
or pecans. Pour 3/4 cup melted
margarine over top and Bake at
350 for 50 minutes.
AMAZINGLY GOOD!

then you should be voting for someone else.
However if you would like to have a voice, you will need to be
voting for ME, Simply because I am NOT tied to the PARTY!
Especially if you would like to see JUSTICE in the DIVORCE
process, for the sake of your children and your wallet.
Apparently the PARTY PERSON does not have the stomach, to
deal with this!!
Thank -you, and may God bless as you make your choice.
