EXETER — Well, we are into October now
and the schoolwork is really starting to pick
up (woo-hoo).
At least we can look forward to Halloween,
quite possibly my favourite holiday, which is
only a little over three weeks away.
University and college pre-
sentations started last week
with The Canadian Forces
RMC presentation on
Tuesday, Kings University
College on Thursday and St.
Clair College on Friday. I
recommend that graduating
students listen for announce-
ments about presentations
and sign up ahead of time in
the Guidance Office.
As well, last week students
were able to pick up their
yearbooks, which look pretty
cool. Kudos to the yearbook committee.
School pictures are also available for stu-
dents to pick up and most will already have
their student cards.
Friday was Panthers Night at the Hawks
game and if I understand correctly students
got in half price and student council gets half
the money made from student admission.
Today is Pink Day and students can wear
pink and take part in a number of activities
throughout the day in support of breast can-
cer research. The school show "Zombie
Prom– has been cast and rehearsals are
under way; after reading through the script I
can tell that it's going to be a hilariously awe-
some show.
The Music Department is getting their
repertoire ready for Commencement which is
this Friday in the large gym, as is the Awards
Assembly.
That's about all that's going on right now
that I can think of. Have a great week.
