Total Receipts
2588 head of cattle, 707 lambs and
goats.
Summary:
Tuesday
Fed steers and heifers sold on a steady
active trade. Choice steers and heifers
sold 96 - 100 with sales to 101. Second
cut sold 93 - 96. Cows sold on a strong
market.
Thursday
Veal sold on a steady market. Lambs
sold steady. Sheep sold on a lower mar-
ket, goats sold steady.
Friday
Calves and yearlings sold on a good
market on a lower demand.
Steers
There were185 steers on offer.
Neil Edgar of Wingham consigned
seven steers averaging 1375 lbs. selling
for an average of 95.72 with three limo
steers averaging 1337 lbs. selling to
Dominion Meat Packers for 99.75.
Miriam Terpstra of Brussels consigned
four steers averaging 1282 lbs. selling for
an average of 98.84 with two blk steers
averaging 1195 lbs. selling for 99.25.
Chris Smith of Brussels consigned 22
steers averaging 1484 lbs. selling for an
average of 96.26 with four limo steers
averaging 1559 lbs. selling to Dominion
