Country baking on Morrison Line
By Pat Bolen
TIMES -ADVOCATE STAFF
EXETER — After cooking for the
12 children that Rose Cunningham
and her husband Arnold raised,
running a home baking business
won't be much different for Rose,
who held the grand opening for
Rose's Home Country Baking on
Friday.
Rose will take orders and do all
the baking at her home on 69722
Morrison Line, just north of
Whalen Line.
She says it is the first time run-
ning a business for her and that
after having the idea in June, it
came together quickly.
Rose will make and sell a variety
of items, including meat pies, cook-
ies, pies, squares and tarts and
says it is all home made with no
mixes and that she has gone
through inspections by the Huron
County Health Unit.
Customers can place orders a
day ahead by calling 229-8726.
There are no deliveries.
Rose says she didn't have to
make too many changes, except
for buying a bigger fridge and
freezer.
"With a kitchen this big, you
don't need much."

Huron -Bruce
On April 30, 2008, during a nationally televised interview on
the manufacturing and economic crisis, long-time Conservative
Party strategist Jeff Norquay said that in Canada "There is no
such thing as a national economy." If this is what Mr. Harper,
Mr. Flaherty and their team truly believe, then is it any wonder that they have squandered
our country's $13 billion budgetary surplus along with our fiscal capacity to rebuild our
public infrastructure or to help farmers, small businesses, our seniors, people living in
poverty and those with disabilities during times of serious crisis.
Canadians deserve better from their leaders. Canadians deserve a government that cares
about those they seek to represent. Far a fairer, richer and greener Canada, vote with
your heart - vote for Gree McClinchev. the Liberal choice for Huron -Bruce.
