The eleNiX Heidi 1 Care HerCes1OTHON Radiothon —The South Huron Hospital Foundation has joined the CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon, making South Huron the fifteenth hospital to join the fundraiser.The CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon, which is simulcast on AM920 CKNX and The One on the third Saturday of October, last year raised just over $902,000 for capital purchases and projects at 14 hospitals in Midwestern Ontario.Above, 2008 fundraiser chairperson Ron Lavoie, left, welcomes Sandra Faber and Bruce Shaw of the South Huron Hospital Foundation. Lavoie says,"With the addition of Exeter and great support for the other foundations it is possible this could be the year the Radiothon raises a million dollars in one day." The 7th annual Radiothon is scheduled for Oct. 18. (photo/submitted) New officers installed EXETER - On Sept. 3 our new year started when our officers were installed by DDP Marie Broom and her team. Since then we have been to St. Marys, Brussels and Stratford to install their officers. On Oct. 22 the vice president of the Rebekah Assembly will visit. There is a banquet at Exeter United Church before the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $15. We will undrape our charter next meeting. When he was caught he needed to be shaved to get the tangles and burrs out of his long hair. He is a beautiful white boy with some light gray on his head. As his hair grows he will a need regular brushing. Fluffy is a laid back cat with lots of affection to give. He will also do anything for treats!! Fluffy had been neutered and tested for feline hiv and feline leukemia and was negative.
