4-3 loss for Lucan
LUCAN - The Lucan Irish opened
their season Friday night in
Thamesford with a 4-3 loss at the
hands of the Trojans.
After Thamesford took an early 1-0
lead, Zac Yeo tied it for Lucan before
Thamesford took the lead with a
shorthanded goal in the second.
Chris Van Kasteren tied it again
with a power play goal in the third
before the Trojans fired two more for
a 4-2 lead.
Mike Spenser got the Irish close
with six seconds left but it was all
Lucan could get.
Lucan has three games this week
starting tonight (Wednesday) with

Times -Advocate
their home opener against Lambeth
at 7:45 p.m.
Lucan visits Exeter Friday night at
8:30 p.m. and is in Ayr Sunday at 1
p.m.

presented a cheque for $5,050 to the Ausable Bayfield Conservation Foundation
towards the maintenance of the MacNaughton Morrison Section of the South Huron
