There will be four locations under the Vincent Farm Equipment and Delta Power Equipment names — Exeter, Seaforth, Forest and Watford. A press release from the company said the reason behind the merger "is simply economies of scale. With four locations, our parts inventories collectively will be much larger to draw from on a daily basis. Our goal is to have as many parts on hand as possible while still run- ning an efficient operation. Our success in satisfying customers is measured in minutes, not days, and we need to have access to inventories that can keep our customers going when it is go time." The press release states that sharing resources between stores in the compa- ny's service depart- ments "will make us better." "With this merger it is our intention to build on our success as individual companies and create even more effective and better service departments. "As a dealership we are often judged on our service, so we must always strive to be better."
