accessories, tailored to our customers' unique requirements, provide a positive
and personal shopping experience. They believe it to be a welcome alternative
to "big box" mayhem.
Co-owner Janice Brock provided sewing and home decor services for fami-
ly and friends from her home for many years. Realizing the demand was
greater than a part-time business could meet, she took the retail plunge in
2005 with business partner Wes Petch.
"We've been very fortunate to have the support of South Huron and sur-
rounding communities from our first day on Main Street, Exeter," says Janice.
"Business continues to show consistent growth and we are appreciative of the
positive feedback and referrals from our many valued customers."
Whether you visit the store or arrange for a complimentary in-home con-
sultation, the professionally trained staff will assist you in making your home
decorating decisions. They also provide satisfaction guaranteed fabrication
and installation. As an award winning Hunter Douglas dealer, Custom Covers
offers window shades, blinds and shutters from the world's largest manufac-
turer of hard window coverings.
Janice can be found either in the store or out assisting customers in their
homes most of the time. She is also alive in many community organizations
and enjoys spending her spare time with family and friends.

human problems.
Dr. Kate Partridge is a registered psychologist who has more
than 25 years of experience in helping people cope with problems
related to stress, anxiety, panic, depression and chronic pain. A
long-time city girl, Dr. Kate moved with her husband to the
Exeter area two years ago and she loves being in the country.
Over the years, Dr. Kate has found that when you can get
some control over the way that stress is affecting your emotional
and physical functioning, many other problems start to become
manageable. This is because your effectiveness in dealing with
the challenges of life depends on the ability of your nervous sys-
tem to keep you energized, calm, and able to think clearly.
In confidential individual counseling sessions, or in group
workshops, Dr. Kate trains you to use a range of highly effective
techniques and strategies for regulating stress. When you prac-
tice these skills on a regular basis, you can make an extraordi-
nary difference in how you think, feel and act.
Dr. Kate has offices in Exeter and in London. You can reach
her at 519-234-6838, or by email, kpartridge(@stressrelease.ca.

Interior Concepts is Sandra's in-home consulting business which she
operates out of her home. Being a Certified Decorating
Consultant and a Certified Lighting Specialist, Sandra believes
in making your house a home and has strived for this since she
put those words on her first business card. Her business has evolved
from choosing just the right paint colour, to sitting down with clients
over a blueprint, sketching a floor plan or a kitchen design that suits
each individual, taking people step by step through a renovation or
new home construction and taking charge when clients don't have
the time.
Sandra will do whatever it takes to make this process as easy and
enjoyable as possible for her clients. She enjoys working with clients,
their contractors and the trades needed to get the job done. The
secret to a successful project is to have all lines of communication
open so that no one assumes anything. From shopping for clients or
with clients, choosing artwork and furniture, to hanging pictures and
fluffing the pillows Sandra is up for the job. Another part of
Sandra's in-home service is Hunter Douglas' blinds, shades and
shutters which offer quality products for every budget all with the
same lifetime warranty. Custom draperies, accessories and bedding
will complete the look. She feels that making these choices in the
comfort of your own home is so important. Call to inquire how
affordable these services are!

anage,
Teresa Ondrejicka, Property Manager, Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities -
overseeing Huron Village Green and Riverview Estates, Exeter, Ontario -
also involved with Sales at Thames Valley in St. Marys. Parkbridge is
Canadian owned and Canada's largest land lease company and is proud to
be the owner of these well established properties.
Parkbridge is becoming a household word in the Exeter area. A vibrant,
growing company, Parkbridge employs several local residents on a full
time basis and also is involved with many contractors in the Exeter area to
complete its many projects in Huron Village Green and Riverview Estates.
We attempt to hire locally and utilize businesses and contractors in the
areas we own. These are the people who are most likely to speak positively
of our company and spread the word on what we have to offer.
Teresa brings several years of solid real estate experience to Parkbridge
and is currently involved in Phase 2 at Riverview Estates. This is an exciting
project which proposes 72 brand new town homes to be built at the north
end of Exeter adjacent to the current Riverview Estates. Riverview is an
active Adult Lifestyle Community with a very busy Community Centre which
has recently been refurbished. This will be a welcome project to Exeter as it
allows our Adult Community to live comfortably and securely in a develop-
ment that is close to all the amenities that Exeter has to offer.
Working for Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities is fulfilling in many
respects. The genuine interest that the company shows in the community
and the desire to move ahead and provide a product that suits the need of
the community and involves the community makes every morning a chal-
lenge and at the end of the day an accomplishment well done.
