Musical Ride
set for Exeter
By Scott Nixon
TIMES -ADVOCATE STAFF
EXETER — Members of the Royal Canadian
Mounted Police, the OPP, the armed forces and others
are getting ready to descend on Exeter.
The famous RCMP Musical Ride is coming to town
with two shows Sept. 11 at South Huron Rec Centre,
the afternoon show for local students and the evening
show for the general public. And the event won't just
be the Musical Ride — local organizers are dubbing
the day "Canadians in Uniform Day," which will see
the OPP, Emergency Response Team, Crime Stoppers,
local fire departments, the Canadian Armed Forces
and other officials attend and be on hand to talk to
members of the public about what they do.
Members of the OPP Auxiliary, including several
local graduates, are also volunteering for the day. The
Ministry of Natural Resources are bringing a search
and rescue dog team, while the Canadian Coast Guard
from Sarnia will also attend.
The Exeter Lions Club is hosting the event, which is
the brainchild of local Huron OPP Const. George Finch.

South Huron July 4. Bueno is working in the
hospital's emergency department, as a hos-
pitalist in the hospital and at the walk-in
clinic as well as starting a family practice. So
far he has about 150 patients in his family
practice and says he can handle about 200.
Bueno has also been keeping busy covering
for other local doctors on vacation this sum-
mer.
Bueno was born and raised in Colombia
and came to Canada in 2002, recently cele-
brating six years here.
Before arriving in Canada, Bueno was a
doctor in Colombia for nearly 10 years and
had two years of family medicine schooling
at the University of Western Ontario as an
International Medical Graduate after he
arrived in Canada.
