QUALIFICATIONS: • College/University diploma in Building Environmental Systems as well as public or business administration or equivalent • Public sector project management experience, including demonstrated ability to understand and work with current technology (procurement process, financial controls, life- cycle costing, activity -based costing, and fleet manage- ment) • Working knowledge of design concepts, marketing strate- gies, provincial grant processes and revenue generating venues in a recreation environment • Minimum five (5) years progressively senior level experi- ence in municipal facilities management, working knowl- edge of ISO, Building Automation systems, safety legisla- tion, knowledge of relevant codes and regulations that govern facility operations • Superior oral, written, presentation and reporting commu- nication skills and capacities with proven ability to prepare technical reports and explain and present information clearly and concisely • Certified Ice Technician and Refrigeration B License • Knowledge of water legislation and preventative mainte- nace programs, procedures and standards to improve operational efficiency and system efficiency and reliability. • Computer literacy utilizing MS Office software applications and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software is essential • Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate, plan implement and evaluate programs We thank all applicants and advise that only those candidates selected for and interview will be contacted.
