Office owner

receiving a cer-
tificate and
Lucan Biddulph Deputy Mayor Perry Caskanette. The certificates are the result of one of the recommendations
that came out of the BR&E study completed about four years ago. Caskanette says,"It is an attempt of the eco-
nomic development committee and council to welcome new businesses to the area. Hopefully by meeting mem-
bers of council it will encourage them to communicate with local government and let us know what we can do to
make their business the success. It really is another part of an outreach program from local government to busi-
ness." Lucan's Suncoast Glass Products and Get ReelVideo also received certificates. The three businesses are the
first new businesses to receive a visit and certificate. (photo/Nina Van Lieshout)
