The Times Advocate, 2008-07-30, Page 13RONA cAsywAy Wednesday, July 30, 2008 Times -Advocate 13 More attacks — South Huron facilities manager Dave Atthill points to what is left of the Dalton Finkbeiner memorial sign that was vandalized sometime during the night of July 17.OPP said the damage resembles the attack on an entrance kiosk on the MacNaughtonTrail June 14 that was cut down off its posts.As well as the damage to the sign, the most recent attack saw a section of one of the sign posts (below) cut off by what appeared to be a hand saw and removed from the scene. Community ser- vices manager Jo- Anne Fields said it will cost between $ 1,500 and $2,000 to replace the sign. Anyone with information on either of the attacks is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at I - 800-222-8477. Hensall's Sandy Ingram, who has organized a Sausage and Blues Fest this weekend in Hensall, said he has been challenged by a group from London as to who has the best sausage recipe. "They're going to come up with their recipe and will challenge the winner of the sausage cook -off we had here in Hensall." Ingram said details of the contest will be announced Saturday night at 10:30 p.m., with the contest to take place in London at a time to be determined. Rob Cameron was the guest organist. Andy's mes- sage was "Christian Faith". The offering was received by Bob Bell and Frank Varley. The service closed with benediction. Carmel Presbyterian Church will be closed for the month of August. The snake was last seen in the owners apartment July 24 in the evening. The snake is described as gold, black and green.
