treatment for a sprained ankle
Ange Gould was also notably
missed while holidaying.

Megan Preszcator, Kerri
Fulton and Carrie Dixon.
Cyr and Kerri Fulton
had a nice double play
while fielders Kathy
Glen, LaPorte and Casey
Cyr were very strong.

distance for Crediton
even after being hit by a
line drive.

schedule trying to fit in four rain -
out games before their playoff
tourney in Byron Aug. 15 to 17.

U7 Gold
The team played a tough game
against the Red team.
The Gold team started out
with many shots on net and just
could not get one into the net.
With Cameron setting up plays
and Nolan's awesome running
from end to end, Nathan started
the score with our first goal.
Meagan kept us in the game
with many super saves in net.
Alexis was a remarkable goal
tender as well, especially when
crawling on the ground to keep
the red the team from scoring.
Katie, Kobe and Vanessa dis-
played their ability to play in
their positions at all times and
pass the ball to their team
mates - super!
Colin was solid in any position
and with his strong passes
helped Nathan score his second
goal for the win.
Conner displayed true sports-
manship as he cheered on his
team from the side lines.
Thanks Conner!
U7 Blue
The U7 Blue team played a
tough Green team on
Wednesday night.
Even though Blue only had one
sub they never quit running.
Hanna Tait played the game of
her life. She never stopped
attacking the Green team and
scored the Blue goal.
She teamed up well with
Michelle and Emma who were
constantly passing to each other
and supporting the attacks.
Colin had a good night in net
and made some key saves.
Jillian played good defense
and even stole the ball away
from the best player on the
Green team.
Lexy returned from an injury
and played a solid game.
Logan ran hard to get in the
mix and came up with the ball
several times. Jakob made key
plays at both ends of the field
and his defense was stellar.

South Huron Lightning 5 ver-
sus Lucan 0
Comments: Good game by our
girls, from a very quick goal at
the start to a strong mid -field.
Defensive play throughout the
game kept Lucan, who were
quick coming forward, at bay.
Emma Mc Veeney was strong
in the forward position and
deserved her goal in the second
half.
Another well taken penalty by
Sadie kept her 100 per cent
penalty kick record intact plus
added another for good mea-
sure.
Jamiee showed her speed and
control with a well taken goal
and Stacey blasted one from
short range in the first half.
Keep up the good work girls.
U13
July 23
South Huron's U13 Fury girls
played a tight game against
North Middlesex.
However, determined to bring
home a win the girls played
hard till the end and scored by
penalty kick in the last five min-
utes making the final score 4-3.
Goals were scored by Ashley
Toornstra, Rebecca Glavin,
Kelsey Becker and Morgan
Allen.
Special recognition goes out to
Melissa Reid for playing strong
defence!!
Way to go team, congrats on
the win!!!
U13 Boys
Lambeth 2 versus South Huron
7
A competent display on a
stormy night, game abandoned
but result given thanks to
Lambeth coaches. Goals from
Kevin, Rob, Mark Anthony,
Kurtis, Taylor and Ted (2).
Well done boys and thanks to
all for showing their skills in
new positions.
Grand Bend Blue 2 versus
Exeter Green 4
Goalies: Scott and Jordan
Goal scorers: Brian (2), Nichol
and Charlie
Grand Bend Orange 1 versus
Exeter Green 1
Goalies: Jordan and Martina
(first time in goal and did an
awesome save).
Goal: Charlie (what a goal,
professionals could not have
scored better).
Comments: We had a great
tournament, I could not have
asked the team to play any
harder or to give more of them-
selves.
We had Robyn fighting like a
terrier and winning most, if not
all the balls, James as usual did
some awesome tackling as did
Larry and Carter.
Nicole, Charlie, Brian, Scott
and Martina ran and passed the
ball and all had shots on goal
and Jordan as usual being a
very strong defender.
I would like to take this oppor-
tunity to thank all the parents
for supporting me and making it
so easy.
Thanks to Heather and Laurie
for doing the substitutions all
season it is very much appreci-
ated.
