That the Municipality of South Huron hereby serves
notice that the Municipality intends to pass a By-law
under Section 391 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O.
2001, c.25, as amended, to authorize the imposition of
a sewage works charge upon owners of land in the
designated sewage service areas of Crediton and
Centralia who derive or will derive benefit from the
construction of the sewage works sufficient to pay all
or such portion of the capital costs.
The proposed by-law: "BEING A BY-LAW TO IMPOSE
A SEWAGE WORKS CHARGE TO RECOVER THE
CAPITAL COST OF THE CREDITON AND CENTRALIA
WASTEWATER SERVICING PROJECT" will be on the
agenda at the regular Council meeting of July 21,
2008.

Wellness for Seniors Coordinator
The Wellness Coordinators will work closely with other partners in the Wellness for
Seniors collaborative across Huron and Perth Counties supporting the day-to-day
activities in Huron County. The Wellness Coordinators are responsible to develop
and implement all aspects of the Wellness for Seniors program at a local level,
which include a variety of health promotion activities including exercise, social
opportunities, nutrition, blood pressure checks etc. The Coordinators recruit, direct
and motivate volunteers, assess clients for service, monitor service delivery and
contribute to the development, evaluation and promotion of volunteer programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree/College Diploma in Health/Social Science discipline (or the
equivalent combination of qualifications/education plus experience in community
work and volunteer administration)
Post secondary education in volunteer management or a minimum three years
experience in volunteer leadership
Certified Personal Trainer preferred
Demonstrated experience in community work and working with volunteers
Demonstrated experience in program planning, development, marketing and
evaluation
Knowledge of community resources and experience in community development
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work within a partnership team environment and to work independently
Demonstrated computer skills, preferably in MS Office
Valid driver's license, insurance and use of vehicle
Current CPR and First Aid
