The service was just over and to the surprise of the people there was a "Fly Past" with the WW2 trainer Harvard #242. The pilot Johnny Curran with co pilot Wayne Chuter (son of Tom Chuter and nephew of Wilfred Chuter) flew from Tillsonburg and did three passes with smoke in recognition of Veterans and Ancestors. John McNeilly was leading the worship service on Sunday in Goshen. His message being "Our Defining Moments". "Happy Father's Day" was wished to all fathers. Anna Keys at the organ and Shirley Hill at the piano accompanied the hymns. Thanks to these ladies for sharing their gifts. Congratulations to Anson and Evelyn McKinley who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends last week- end. Goshen UCW met Thurs., June 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Goshen Church to hear Karen Ratcliffe speak on her visit to China. Everyone wel- come and bring a friend along. Church service will be in Goshen on June 22 as well as June 29. After a shortened church service on June 29 there will be a Varna Goshen congregational meeting to finalize the Joint Needs Assessment Committee report. All church members are encour- aged to attend. Varna Goshen official board meeting will be held June 26 at 8 p.m. in the Goshen Church. Fred graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1998 with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering. After working for almost a decade in corporate management, most recently in insurance and financial services, he made the decision to move home. Fred and his wife Christina began building their lives in Exeter, and became new parents early this year. As a young boy growing up in Exeter, Fred played a lot of hockey. His love for the game has continued and he still plays recreational hockey twice a week. In the "off-season", Fred enjoys a round or two of golf at the local courses. With a belief in giving back to the community, Fred has been a Big Brother through the Big Brother/Big Sister program for over eight years. What is Fred's greatest passion?
